The Ruger-57 Manual Safety 5.7x28mm is a groundbreaking, full features semi-auto pistol chambered in 5.7X28mm brought to you by one of America’s leading firearm manufacturers. Ruger has priced the high velocity low recoiling 57 within the reach of an average consumer without sacrificing ergonomics, quality, and function. The Ruger-57 is an impressively full features handgun sheathed around a standard capacity, 20 round steel magazine, producing high performance in the extremely low recoiling 5.7x28mm caliber. The Ruger-57 Manual Safety 5.7x28mm comes with an easy trigger reach, and familiar 1911 style ambidextrous manual safety. This model also features a reversible magazine release latch. One of the most impressive features of this design is it’s ergonomics. The hardened Billet steel slide is optic ready with a sold separately available adapter and has lightening cuts to reduce the felt recoil. Quick and on target acquisition is achieved with a fiber optic front sight and windage and elevation adjustable serrated rear sight. Another standout feature of the Ruger-57 is it’s ability to reach all of the controls with ease. The 4.94″ barrel further increases the accuracy with a longer sight picture. The Ruger-57 uses the proven Ruger Secure Action fire control system with a protected internal hammer, and the short stroke, double action, bladed safety trigger has a smooth pull, crisp clean break, and positive reset. Loaded chamber status is easy with both a tactile and visual inspection port. The Ruger-57 magazine drops free on release for fast, easy re-loading although the superb 20 round magazine capacity means you won’t have to do it as often. Takedown is effortless and safe with the no trigger pull or tools being required. The Ruger-57 is truly fun to shoot and great for competition shooting, nonetheless.
